Job summary

Labcorp in Bluffton, SC seeks a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods, collect specimens for tests, and provide friendly, accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports diverse patient populations, requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy training or certification. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with possible Saturdays; Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
In lieu of work experience, Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is acceptable.
Must pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments.
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
