Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Reidsville, NC. Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00 pm, with travel to additional sites as needed, to perform blood collections and handle specimen processing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and either phlebotomy certification or training, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Strong customer service and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
