Job summary

Optum in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our lab team. You will perform venipuncture, specimen processing and basic waived testing, while ensuring compassionate patient care in a busy setting.

This full-time role requires strong communication, strict adherence to SOPs, and the ability to travel between locations as needed. Shifts include morning hours with potential Saturday/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Phlebotomy Certificate program completed.
• MA-Pbt certification required by the state to perform capillary and venous procedures.
• BL S certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 1+ years of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and specimen collection following SOW.
• Perform waived laboratory testing when required.
• Interact with patients and healthcare providers professionally.
