Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification for phlebotomy duties.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Certificate program.
• BLS (AHA) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• 1+ years of relevant hospital/clinical experience with strong communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Conduct waived and moderate complexity laboratory testing, including microscopy.
• Record test results accurately and maintain lab records.
• Ensure quality control, calibration, and proficiency testing.
• Interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers.
• Follow HIPAA and clinic policies and keep patient information confidential.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and manage supplies.
