Job summary

Labcorp in Bloomington, IL is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays (7am–11am every 6 weeks).

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, collect various specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
