Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience referenced in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection duties.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens.
• Maintain patient information and ensure requisitions are accurate.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to protocol.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulations are followed; attend trainings.
• Assist in trouble shooting and workflow improvements.
