Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Worcester, MA team. The role includes skilled blood collection, specimen handling, and providing exceptional patient service at patient service centers or client offices.

Work schedule includes Saturdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with potential travel to additional sites. Prior phlebotomy experience or certification is preferred; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
