Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work at Ascension St. Mary’s in Milwaukee, WI. Work hours: Mon-Fri with early start times, occasional weekends/holidays. You will perform blood collections, collect various specimens, and ensure accurate patient data entry.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and the ability to travel to additional sites if needed. A high school diploma is required, and phlebotomy certification or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and patient-focused service.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
