Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work at Ascension St. Mary's in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, specimen processing and accurate data entry.

You will provide friendly service to patients and may travel to additional sites as needed. Schedule is Monday–Friday with early starts; every other weekend and holiday. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
