Phlebotomist 2 – We Train

Pay scale: $20.18-25.79 per hour. This position is eligible to participate in up to 4% of the company bonus pool. Benefits include medical, PTO, up to 5% 401K match, and tuition reimbursement. Our ideal phlebotomist is patient, reliable, and committed to keeping our donors comfortable and happy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
• Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality.
• Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
• Monitor donor and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality.
• Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Disconnect and dispose of all contaminated disposable equipment.

Occupational Demands

Work is performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious organisms, electrical equipment, extreme cold below 32°F, and requires personal protective equipment. Tasks include sitting or standing for entire shifts, bending, twisting, frequent hand and foot movements, light lifting, and the ability to follow instructions and perform complex tasks under variable conditions.
