Pay and Benefits

Pay scale of $19.67-25.13 per hour. This position is eligible for up to 4% of the company bonus pool. Benefits include medical, PTO, up to 5% 401K match, and tuition reimbursement. Our ideal phlebotomist is patient, reliable, and dedicated to keeping donors comfortable and happy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in determining donor suitability
• Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction and confidentiality
• Respond to and assist with donor reactions
• Monitor donor and equipment to ensure health and quality
• Setup, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines
• Dispose of contaminated equipment properly

Occupational Demands

Work is performed in a plasma center with potential exposure to biological fluids and infectious organisms. Personal protective equipment is required. Work involves sitting or standing for entire shifts, bending, twisting, and frequent hand and foot movements. Light lifting of up to 15 lbs., with a maximum of 50 lbs. may be required. Good hearing, color perception, vision, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. Tasks are complex and variable, requiring adaptability and sensitivity to information.
