Phlebotomist – We Train

Pay scale of $19.67-25.13 per hour. This position is eligible to participate in up to 4% of the company bonus pool. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
  • Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality.
  • Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
  • Monitor donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
  • Set up, disconnect, and operate the automated plasmapheresis machines.
  • Disconnect and dispose of all contaminated disposable equipment.
Occupational Demands

Work is performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, potential exposure to infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F in plasma freezers. Personal protective equipment such as eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold-gear is required. The role involves sitting or standing for entire shifts, bending, twisting, and frequent hand and foot movements. Light lifting of 15 lbs with a maximum of 50 lbs may be required. Hearing acuity, color perception, near and far vision are essential. Ability to follow instructions and perform complex tasks under variable conditions is necessary.

We produce essential plasma-derived medicines for patients and provide hospitals and healthcare professionals with the tools, information, and services they need for expert medical care.
