Phlebotomist – We Train

Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess donor suitability
• Build rapport to ensure donor comfort and confidentiality
• Respond to and assist with donor reactions
• Monitor donor health and equipment quality
• Set up, operate, and disconnect automated plasmapheresis machines
• Dispose of contaminated equipment safely

Occupational Demands:

Work is performed in a plasma center environment with potential exposure to biological fluids and infectious agents. PPE such as eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear are required. Tasks include sitting or standing for long periods, bending, twisting, and light lifting (up to 50 lbs). Visual and auditory acuity are essential, along with the ability to follow instructions and perform complex tasks under variable conditions.
