Job summary

Blood Assurance, a nonprofit blood center, is seeking a compassionate Phlebotomist to join the Gunbarrel Facility in Chattanooga, TN. You will interview donors for suitability, perform mini-physicals, and conduct phlebotomy while building strong donor relationships.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent); phlebotomy certification or experience is preferred but not required, with scheduling flexibility for various shifts and weekends. Join us to help save lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certificate and/or prior phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Call a minimum number of donors daily as directed.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Phlebotomistto work at our Gunbarrel Facility. The duties of this job include interviewing donors for suitability to donate, mini physicals (blood pressure, pulse, temp., and hemoglobin), and phlebotomy. Also calling a minimum number of donors daily per manager’s instructions.

Qualified applicants should possess:

• A high school degree or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certificate and/or prior phlebotomy experience (preferred but, not required).
• Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.
• A positive, caring attitude.
• Scheduling flexibility for a variety of shifts and some overtime and weekends.
