Job summary

Blood Assurance in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a compassionate phlebotomist for our Gunbarrel Facility. Duties include interviewing donors, performing mini physicals, and conducting phlebotomy with donor suitability screening.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or experience is preferred. Flexible scheduling, some overtime and weekends offered, with generous benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certificate and/or prior phlebotomy experience (preferred but, not required).
• Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.
• A positive, caring attitude.
• Scheduling flexibility for a variety of shifts and some overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Interview donors for suitability to donate.
• Mini physicals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, hemoglobin).
• Perform phlebotomy as part of donor procedures.
• Call a minimum number of donors daily per manager’s instructions.
