Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Plasma Center Technician to join our Minnesota team. You will operate automated plasmapheresis machines, monitor donor health, and ensure product quality while maintaining donor confidentiality.

Responsibilities include setting up and disconnecting equipment, assisting donors, and following strict safety protocols and PPE requirements in a fast-paced plasma center environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Superior customer service standards and donor confidentiality.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to obtain required state licensures.
  • Patient and reliable approach to donor care and instruction comprehension.
  • Ability to stand 6–8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work around biohazards with PPE.

Job description

  • Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day

  • Frequent hand, finger, wrist, and foot movements

  • Ability to make precise coordinated movements and manipulate objects

  • Ability to walk up to 6–8 hours per day

  • Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.

  • Hearing acuity essential

  • Correctable near and far vision requirements, including 20/30 in one eye and 20/100 in the other eye

  • Ability to work around biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and temperatures below 32°F

  • Ability to use required protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear
