Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support a medical facility in South Burlington, VT. This is a 3-month assignment with a possibility of contract-to-hire.

The role offers hourly compensation and a schedule of Monday–Friday 8am-2pm with rotating Saturdays; travel to other sites as needed. A high school diploma and at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and capillary draws accurately and safely.
• Collect and prepare specimens for lab testing in clinical and forensic settings.
• Handle pediatric and geriatric patients with care and professionalism.
• Verify and label specimens adhering to patient identification protocols.
• Maintain patient demographics and collect signatures post-collection.
• Travel to other Patient Service Centers or IOP locations as needed.
• Attend required trainings and maintain credentials.

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in South Burlington, VT 05403. This is 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: South Burlington, VT 05403

Pay Rate: $21.70 - $22.26 per hour

Schedule: M-F 8a-2pm Rotating Saturdays (30 hours per week)

Duration: 3 months +

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate, safe, and skillful blood collections including venipunctures and capillary draws.
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing in both clinical and forensic settings.
• Handle pediatric, geriatric, and special patient populations with care and professionalism.
• Accurately verify and label specimens while ensuring compliance with patient identification protocols.
• Maintain updated patient demographics and obtain signatures post-collection.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive image of the organization.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including confidentiality and data integrity.
• Maintain clean and stocked work areas and ensure equipment is properly sanitized.
• Provide excellent service and build trust with patients and healthcare providers.
• Travel as needed to other Patient Service Centers or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) locations with short notice.
• Attend all required training sessions and maintain updated credentials.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
