Job summary

Vitalant in San Luis Obispo, CA is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our donor care team. You will assist with blood drives within a 100-mile range, greet donors, perform phlebotomy, and ensure a comfortable, consistent donation experience.

Compensation Considerations

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for performing all duties related to the efficient, safe, and compliant collection of blood and blood products. The position works collaboratively as a member of the team and in alignment with the values of the organization. The duties include performing interviews and whole blood phlebotomy. Opportunities for large vehicle training, set schedule, weekend and holiday work.

Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 100-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

What to Expect

Pay

$21.00 to $22.30 per hour

Salary is commensurate with a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
