Job summary

Vitalant in Memphis, TN seeks a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist to lead donor care teams, coordinate mobile blood drives, and coach staff through phlebotomy processes to ensure comfortable, safe donor experiences.

Expectation includes the ability to travel, drive company vehicles, complete CDL training, and obtain supervisory training within six months, with two years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Active driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to complete and pass CDL license program.
  • Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Supervisory training within six months.

Responsibilities

  • Function as an operational lead, coaching staff in phlebotomy and interviewing.
  • Serve as primary contact for blood drive coordinators on-site.
  • Coordinate setup and breakdown of equipment for mobile drives.
  • Ensure donor comfort and information during phlebotomy.
  • Assist supervisor with direction and performance input for staff.
  • Drive company vehicles to drive sites.

You will assist Vitalant's donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, most days you'll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you'll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers.
