Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist to create comfortable, convenient blood donation experiences for donors. You’ll lead the Donor Care team, coach staff, and coordinate phlebotomy on mobile drives and at donation centers, helping save lives in local communities.

This full-time role offers a Friday–Tuesday schedule, pay of $31.25–$32.25 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package. A High School Diploma or GED, active driver’s license, ability to travel, and supervisory training

Qualifications

• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Successful completion of supervisory training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site
• Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
• Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations.
• Drive company vehicles including vans, buses to drive sites

Your impact as a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, most days you’ll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you’ll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Salary is commensurate with a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you’ll get to
