Vitalant is seeking an entry-level Phlebotomist to support donor care teams at community blood drives and donation centers in the Pittsburgh area. You will guide donors through the donation process and help collect blood and blood products that save lives.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. You will travel to regional drives within a 200-mile range and join a mission-driven team focused on donor safety and patient care.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a valid in-state driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 200 miles for blood drives.

Responsibilities

  • Create an exceptional donor experience by welcoming, educating, and guiding donors through the donation process.
  • Perform blood collections with a focus on donor safety, comfort, and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive company vehicles to mobile blood drive locations and set up equipment.
