Job summary

Everleap Fertility has an opportunity for a Full-Time Phlebotomist in Providence, RI, working Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm with weekend rotation. You will draw blood for infertility lab procedures and support a positive patient experience.

The role requires 3+ years of venipuncture experience, EMR proficiency, and ability to work weekends; phlebotomy program completion is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in fast-paced lab or hospital settings.
• Proficiency with EMR systems is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients accurately.
• Perform venipuncture and explain the process to patients.
• Draw blood, label specimens, and centrifuge samples as needed.
• Store and transport specimens to maintain integrity.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Keep phlebotomy area clean and stocked.
• Provide comfort to ease patient anxieties.

Job Description

Everleap Fertility has an opportunity for a Full-Time Phlebotomist working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3:30pm with weekend rotation in our Providence, RI office.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program‑ highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
