Vitalant in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to support blood drives within a 200-mile radius. You will be trained to perform blood draws and ensure a comfortable donation experience for donors.

Role involves flexible scheduling, up to 3–7 overnight stays monthly, and a 10-week paid training program. Competitive benefits and a 5% mobile premium accompany base pay of $16.45–$17.15 per hour.

Job Description:

We’re hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we’re here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best. Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

What to Expect

Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends. Variable hours: mornings, afternoons, and evenings (5:00 AM - 10:00 PM).

Average of 3-7 overnight stays per month (all expenses, including hotel and meals, covered by the company).

Start Date: 10/12/2026

Base pay: $16.45 - $17.15 / Hour

Other compensation: 5% Mobile Premium

Salary is commensurate with a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Training Information:

10-week Paid Mandatory Training program in Rapid City - 100% attendance required.

Training schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00am -5:30pm; for classroom training and then field training follows the mobiles.
