Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist I - Float in Pennsauken, NJ for a 13-week contract with potential extension, offering valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting. Primary coverage area: Delran, Hainesport, Columbus, Burlington, Medford, Mount Laurel, NJ. Shift: Saturday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM.

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience

• Perform accurate venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
• Collect specimens from patients of all ages.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection process clearly to patients.
• Update and verify patient information in the systems.
• Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and prepare specimens per test requirements.
• Package specimens for transport while maintaining integrity.
• Store specimens per required temperature and handling protocols.

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist I - Float at Pennsauken, NJ! This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Primary Float/ Coverage Area: Delran, Hainesport, Columbus, Burlington, Medford & Mount Laurel, NJ

Shift Schedule:

• Saturday: 7:30 AM–12:30 PM

Pay Highlights: $19 - 21/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Mileage Reimbursement: Yes

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate venipuncture and blood specimen collection using straight and butterfly needles.


• Collect specimens from patients of all ages.


• Properly explain the venipuncture and specimen collection process to patients in a clear and courteous manner.


• Update and verify patient information in the appropriate systems.


• Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and prepare specimens according to test requirements.


• Package specimens appropriately for transportation while maintaining specimen integrity.


• Store specimens according to required temperature and handling protocols.


• Record maintenance and decontamination activities as required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of experience– REQUIRED


• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
