Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our Oakland, MD team on a 13-week contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion.

You will perform venipuncture and draw specimens across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, aiming for about 35 draws per day, in a fast-paced setting.

ASAP start, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; pay $18–$20 per hour based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience - REQUIRED.
• Experience with Pediatric collections, Geriatric collections, Capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and safely.
• Draw specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Process and prepare specimens according to established procedures.
• Accurately label, handle, and maintain specimen integrity.
• Verify patient information and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a professional, comfortable patient experience.
• Follow all established safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
• Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
