Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 7‑month contract in Jackson, TN, with potential extension or conversion. The role requires 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma or GED. Travel to a sister site in Union City each Thursday is required.

Schedule is 40 hours weekly with pay in the $19–$21/hour range, depending on education and experience. Responsibilities include venipuncture, pediatric and geriatric collections, specimen processing, accurate labeling, HIPAA

Responsibilities

• Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and routine blood collections.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Follow all HIPAA, safety, quality assurance, and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Support operations at multiple Patient Service Centers or physician office locations as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Jackson, TN! This is a 7 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Location: Jackson, TN 38305

Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST | Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM CST

Travel Requirement: Must be able to travel to the sister site in Union City every Thursday.

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $19-21/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and routine blood collections.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures.
• Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens in the patient's presence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Follow all Quest Diagnostics policies, including HIPAA, safety, quality assurance, and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Support operations at multiple Patient Service Centers or physician office locations as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
