Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our clients medical facility in . This is a 2+ month contract with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Bloomfield, NJ 07003

Pay Rate: $19.85 - 21.79/hr on W2.

Duration: 2+ Months

Shift: Monday through Friday 8AM-3:30PM

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established protocols.
• Draw high-quality blood samples, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Verify patient identification, demographics, and signatures after venipuncture.
• Ensure tubes are labeled in the patients presence and properly documented.
• Perform daily tasks accurately and in a timely manner under supervisor direction.
• Maintain required records, logs, and documentation.
• Uphold a clean, safe, and professional workspace.
• Process specimens as needed (experience in processing required).

Job Requirements

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
