A healthcare staffing agency in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 2-month contract role. Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $21.30/hr

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Alpharetta, GA! This is a 2 months contract role (with possible extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $18 - 21.30/hour (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Collect specimens skillfully and safely, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Verify patient identification, demographic information, and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure accuracy of specimen labeling.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Demonstrate superior customer service, professionalism, and a commitment to the Quest Diagnostics mission and values.
  • Adhere to company policies including dress code, health & safety, and confidentiality standards.
  • Travel and provide coverage at multiple patient service locations when needed, sometimes with minimal notice.
  • Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Serve as a positive representative of Quest Diagnostics to patients, clients, and colleagues.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience – Required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

Offered pay rate: Based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
