Job summary

WellSpan Health in Chambersburg is seeking a PRN phlebotomist to join the Chambersburg Inpatient Phlebotomy Services. The role includes phlebotomy for all age groups, EKG and vital signs, clerical duties, and related computer tasks.

The incumbent will collect specimens on-site and off-site, including nursing home patients, under direct supervision. Schedule is PRN with Day/Evening/Nights as needed, requiring 24 hours in a 6-week period and rotation on holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy on all age groups, including off-site nursing home collections.
• Performs clerical duties and computer tasks related to ordering and collection.
• Records vitals and may perform EKGs when required.
• Under supervision of phlebotomy supervisor or designee, supports patient care duties in the unit/area.
