Job summary

Indiana University Health Foundation in Indianapolis is seeking a data-driven Philanthropy Services Officer – Intermediate to support prospect development, dashboards, and portfolio management. Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive prospect research using internal sources and external tools to assess giving capacity and inclination.
• Apply scoring and portfolio assignment criteria to balance and optimize fundraiser portfolios based on capacity and inclination alignment.
• Manage and enhance the automated patient feed methodology in Salesforce that flags eligible patients for compliant and appropriate philanthropic outreach.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give leadership and development officers real time visibility into pipeline health and prospect prioritization.
• Produce focused portfolio review materials that support strategic conversation and effective decision making.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from fundraisers and leadership.
• Collaborate closely with two data team colleagues on ongoing Salesforce optimization and related platform improvements.
• Refine research and reporting workflows, strengthening team standards, and maintaining policies that reflect best practices as new tools and predictive modeling capabilities come online.
• Report monthly metrics to leadership.

Philanthropy Services Officer – Intermediate

Indiana University Health Foundation is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Central Office team in the role of Philanthropy Services Officer – Intermediate. We are seeking a data driven, analytically curious, and service oriented philanthropy professional to join the IU Health Foundation's prospect development and research function. Day to day work is roughly a 50 to 60 percent split between standing deliverables, monthly dashboards, pipeline metrics, portfolio reviews and ad hoc requests from fundraisers and leadership that require nimble, accurate, and insightful responses. The ideal candidate has genuine experience in the philanthropy research discipline, is comfortable in data heavy environments, and brings a service minded, solutions focused approach to partnering with development officers across the Foundation.

The Scope

This role advances the prospect development and research function for IU Health Foundation, including:

Candidate Qualifications
