Job summary

IU Health Foundation seeks a data-driven Philanthropy Services Officer – Intermediate to advance its prospect development and research function in a hybrid Indianapolis role. You will support standing deliverables, dashboards, and portfolio reviews while partnering with fundraisers and leadership to provide accurate insights.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in philanthropy research, strong data skills, and a service oriented mindset to assist development officers across the Foundation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Requires working knowledge of fundraising software (i.e. Raiser's Edge, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with prospect research tools such as iWave and DonorSearch preferred;
• Requires proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with a matrix organization and complex work environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills required; ability to translate data into actionable insights for fundraisers and leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive prospect research using internal and external sources to assess giving capacity and inclination.
• Apply scoring and portfolio assignment criteria to optimize fundraiser portfolios.
• Manage and enhance the patient feed methodology in Salesforce for compliant outreach.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for real-time pipeline health.
• Produce focused portfolio review materials to support strategic decision making.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from fundraisers and leadership.
• Collaborate with data team colleagues on Salesforce optimization and tools.
