Job summary

Houston Grand Opera is seeking a Manager, Philanthropy Administration to oversee department-wide administrative processes that support fundraising and donor engagement. You will coordinate gift agreements, statements of intent, and legacy gift documentation, ensuring accurate records and compliant workflows.

You’ll maintain Tessitura data integrity, prepare acknowledgement letters, support stewardship initiatives, and manage the Philanthropy SharePoint site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; experience in an office setting preferred in philanthropy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to support relationships with organizational leadership, staff, and high-level volunteers.
• Proficiency with donor management software (e.g., Tessitura, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department-wide administrative processes to support fundraising operations.
• Manage gift agreements, statements of intent, and legacy gift documentation.
• Maintain confidential donor records and Tessitura data.
• Prepare gift acknowledgement letters and pledge reminders.
• Support donor events and stewardship initiatives.
• Oversee Philanthropy SharePoint site and data standards.
