The Philanthropy Officer I at CHRISTUS Health Foundation in Houston supports planning and organizing fundraising activities aligned with the mission and strategic plan. This role identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards business and individual donors capable of five- and six-figure gifts.

You will manage corporate and private foundation relationships, steward a small donor portfolio, coordinate cultivation events, write proposals, and document donor activity in Raiser's Edge NXT, upholding

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of fundraising experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in the healthcare and/or not-for-profit sector preferred.
• At least 2 years of proven grant writing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards individual, foundation and corporate gifts of $2,500 and above.
• Manages relationships with approximately 10–20 prospective donors.
• Identifies grateful patients through hospital rounding in collaboration with hospital leadership and nursing directors.
• Plans and implements major donor-related cultivation events.
• Writes proposals, follow-up letters, and background materials for cultivation and solicitation.
• Records all prospect contacts in Raiser's Edge NXT to ensure donor relations.
• Participates in portfolio management meetings with Regional Office.
• Represents the Foundation at donor and community events.
