Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital - Orange seeks a Senior Philanthropy Officer to identify, evaluate, cultivate, and solicit major donors. You will work with the Chief Philanthropy Officer to craft proposals aligned with the Foundation’s priorities and strategic initiatives.

You will participate in budget preparation, program evaluation, and strategic planning, while managing a donor portfolio to retain and upgrade giving and involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years in philanthropy and 5 years fundraising.
• Experience with donor cultivation, proposals and employee campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, cultivate, and solicit current and prospective principal gift donors.
• Collaborate with Chief Philanthropy Officer to create proposals and asks aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Participate in budget preparation, program evaluation and strategic planning.
• Manage a group of assigned donors to retain and upgrade giving.
