Job summary

Bozeman Health is seeking a Philanthropic Advisor to secure support for mission-driven programs and projects. You will collaborate with the Foundation to build donor relationships and manage a portfolio to achieve fundraising goals.

The role requires strategic donor engagement, strong communication, and nonprofit fundraising expertise to drive measurable impact across campaigns and annual giving. Proficiency with Raiser's Edge/NXT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field.
• Three (3) years of non-profit fundraising experience soliciting gifts from individuals.
• Demonstrated non-profit development experience and understanding of philanthropy interrelation.
• Proficient with donor management software/CRM, preferably Raiser's Edge/NXT.
• CFRE coursework completed (preferred).
• Healthcare sector and physician engagement experience with regional knowledge.
• Experience in planned giving and legacy gifts within fundraising strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate and solicit prospective donors to build authentic, long-term relationships.
• Manage a portfolio of giving relationships in all development stages; create moves management plans and KPI-based reports.
• Produce professional proposals and correspondence; present compelling cases for support and stewardship reports.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, gift agreements, proposals and gift recording in Raisers Edge/NXT.
• Engage physicians and health-system teams as contributors and referral sources; build trust with senior staff and volunteers.
• Implement stewardship tactics in collaboration with Foundation team members.
• Support a diverse range of philanthropic initiatives to achieve annual, major, event and campaign goals.
