Job summary

Mountain Housing Opportunities (MHO) seeks a Philanthropy Associate to strengthen fund development, stewardship, and storytelling efforts. The role demands organization, data acumen, and mission alignment, with in-office duties and potential episodic telecommuting after probation.

The position supports the Philanthropy and Communications team, reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, and contributes to gift processing, reporting, and donor communications as part of a growing nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Associate or equivalent experience required; bachelor's preferred.
• 1–2 years data entry, admin or clerical work.
• Experience with donor CRM (Bloomerang) preferred; bulk mail merges.
• Strong writing and proofreading aligned to brand guidelines.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Nonprofit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor records in Bloomerang and process gifts.
• Prepare acknowledgments and revenue reports.
• Generate fundraising reports and track donor activity.
• Assist with campaigns and communications materials.
• Provide admin support to Philanthropy and Communications.
