Harvey Mudd College seeks a Philanthropic Advisor for Parent Engagement to design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting the college’s parent and family network. You will manage the Family Partners Circle, cultivate relationships, and drive solicitations aligned with institutional priorities.

You will collaborate with Alumni and Family Engagement, Communications, and Events to organize meetings and programs that deepen donor engagement.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least three years of leadership annual fundraising experience.
• Experience in an academic setting and in a campaign environment is strongly preferred.
• A proven track record of soliciting and closing five figure gifts.
• Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends, as needed.

• Grow and manage the Family Partners Circle (FPC).
• Lead strategic growth and management to recruit, engage, retain, and inspire investments from Harvey Mudd parents and family network.
• Craft proposals and prioritize solicitations to meet annual fundraising goals.
• Organize two dynamic FPC meetings annually with partners across divisions.
• Coordinate parent participation across Orientation, Family Weekend, Summer Welcomes, and Admitted Students Program.
• Engage families through events, tailored communications, and volunteer opportunities.
• Foster relationships with assigned prospects via in-person, written, and digital channels.
• Develop creative cultivation and solicitation plans and stewardship efforts.
• Stay current with evolving trends in philanthropy.
