Job summary

Viewpoint School in Calabasas, CA seeks a Director of Parent Engagement and Giving to elevate our fundraising program while strengthening parent involvement across two campuses as we merge with Berkeley Hall.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Advancement and focuses on frontline fundraising, moves management, and volunteer leadership. You will build partnerships with parents, staff, and trustees to grow annual giving and donor participation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive fundraising experience in nonprofits
• Experience with volunteer management
• Experience in independent schools preferred
• CRM experience and data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

• Lead the parent volunteer program strategy and execution
• Engage and solicit prospective donors from the parent community
• Manage moves management and donor portfolio for annual giving
• Collaborate with school partners to align volunteers with institution priorities
• Oversee onboarding for new parents and volunteer leadership development
• Support annual giving and major gifts through stewardship and communication
