Job summary

CSL Plasma in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a donor center technician to support the pheresis process. You will prepare donors, the donor area, and equipment; set up the autopheresis machine; monitor the process and donor, and respond to alarms.

You will disconnect the donor when complete and document incidents via the PDA while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Training may be provided for cross-training roles as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis process.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

3 months of work experience in medical/health provider environment or equivalent

Ability to perform basic math calculations
