Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor pheresis technician to prepare the autopheresis system and donor area for the pheresis process. You will monitor the donor and equipment, respond to alarms, and safely disconnect the donor when complete.

Responsibilities include accurate data recording, adherence to SOPs, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. PPOs and OSHA/HSE policies guide daily activities; some cross-training may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors donor and process; responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains awareness of donor reactions and notifies staff as needed.
• Records incidents and donor data in the donor information system per SOPs.
