Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical/health provider environment preferred.
• Basic math calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process completes.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff.
• Record incidents in the PDA and link equipment to donor.
• Log donor data in the electronic donor information system.
