Job summary

CSL Vifor is hiring for a pheresis support role in Sacramento. The position prepares the autopheresis machine, monitors the donor and process, and disconnects the donor when complete.

You will record incidents using a PDA, link equipment to donors, and maintain accurate donor data in the management system per SOPs while following all HSE and OSHA policies. A high school diploma and 3 months’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to donors.
• Ensure accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and assist as needed.
