Job summary

CSL Plasma operates one of the world’s largest plasma donation networks, with nearly 330 donation centers in the U.S. and Europe.

This role assists donor care and pheresis preparation, ensures proper machine setup, and monitors donors during the procedure to safeguard safety and product quality. You will document incidents and link equipment to donors in the information system, maintain a clean work area, follow SOPs, and may cross-train in other areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math calculations proficiency.
• Preferably healthcare provider environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to any donor reaction and notifies staff.
• Uses PDA to record incidents, machine alerts, alarms, and donor events.
• Links equipment and soft goods to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Alerts supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Understands policies for hyper immune programs if applicable.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and sufficient supplies; follows HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.
