Job summary

CSL Plasma in Ocala, FL seeks a Pheresis Technician to prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for pheresis processing. You will monitor the donor and the process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when complete. You will use a PDA to record incidents, link equipment to donors, and escalate donor flow issues.

Follow SOPs, safety policies, and keep donor information confidential. Some cross-training and bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations

• Possibility of bilingual requirement at organization discretion

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine and donor area for pheresis processing.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms and signals.
• Disconnect donor when process is complete and ensure donor safety.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA; link equipment to donor records.
• Escalate donor flow issues to Group Leader or Supervisor; maintain SOP and confidentiality.
