Job summary

CSL Plasma in Tulsa, OK is hiring for a Full-Time Pheresis Technician to perform donor pheresis, monitor and disconnect donors, and ensure product quality and donor safety through SOP-compliant procedures.

The role includes venipuncture, donor education, use of a PDA to document incidents, equipment troubleshooting, and collaboration with center staff to maintain operations and safety. A high school diploma and 18 months in a medical setting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Specialized medical or phlebotomy training preferred
• Bilingual skills may be required, at organization's discretion

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the pheresis procedure and plasma collection in SOP-compliant manner
• Perform venipuncture to initiate pheresis
• Monitor donor for adverse events and ensure donor safety
• Educate donors on the donation process and products
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic system using PDA
