Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry, dispensing steps, and HIPAA compliance while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role requires 18+ and a current registration or licensure where applicable, with potential for growth within the Kroger family of companies. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience or comparable experience preferred.
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by state and federal laws and company policies.
