Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our health and wellness team. You will support pharmacists with dispensing, data entry, and patient interactions in a compliant, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes HIPAA adherence, accuracy in receipt and dispensing processes, and coaching of clerks and technicians. Must maintain proper licensure and be ready to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Aufgaben

• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or licensure.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Support the coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
• Compound medications according to state regulations.
• Perform post‑fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings per state and federal law and company policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by regulations.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with all regulations and report illegal activity.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
