Kroger Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will assist pharmacists, dispense medications, enter data accurately, and participate in screenings and non-dispensing services in a compliant, safe environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining licenses, adhering to HIPAA, and coaching staff, while ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met in a fast-paced retail setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure (state dependent).

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current state/national registration or license.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgement.
• Provide accurate and efficient reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services with various platforms and applications.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings per law and policies.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Report illegal activity including theft or fraud.
• Must be able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
