Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional customer service and assist pharmacists with health and wellness services in a compliant, safe, and welcoming environment.

The role supports HIPAA adherence and state-specific licensing requirements while handling data entry, reception, adjudication, and dispensing tasks. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Compound medications according to state regulations and perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, safety regulations and health code guidelines; report unsafe conditions.
