The Kroger Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and deliver patient-centered care in a store setting. You will assist with reception, data entry, dispensing, and health and wellness services while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration or license.
• Assist pharmacist with duties excluding professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience across reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Support training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and apps.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings per laws and policies.
• Provide additional health services as allowed by state and regulators.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Report illegal activity as required.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with/without accommodations.
